Slovak Language Course for Foreigners A1 (CEFR) (course for fee-paying participants)

Have you come to Zvolen to Slovakia for your Erasmus+ study programme or another international mobility for one or two semesters? Although mastering the English language will be sufficient for your study, communication in everyday situations in the street, shop, restaurant and other places will require knowledge of the Slovak language basics. The Institute of Foreign Languages at the Technical University in Zvolen offers to those interested a course “Slovak Language Course for Foreigners”. It is a communication course focused on developing individual language skills while taking into consideration the needs of foreigners in various communication situations. The course will provide the participants with standard vocabulary – frequently used words, collocations and phrases, which are inevitable for understanding the real communication situations. In addition, the participants will learn basic grammar while respecting the specifics of the Slovak language as a foreign language for beginners.  

Extent of the course: 14 weeks, 4 classes (2x2) /week (schedule according to the agreement with the teacher)
